Losing Agency

Part of the event series Casting a Shadow at MUMOK, Vienna, 2018, this sound installation explores asylum interviews and their links to casting-like power dynamics. Voices of asylum seekers who arrived in Europe around 2015 are conveyed through a friend working within the asylum system, revealing the intimate and procedural dimensions of their experiences.
